My new ambitious project: this dress + this wrap, using the materials above. By mid-February.
The wrap involves miles and miles of stockinette, so I may die of boredom before it’s finished. The dress, on the other hand, may prove to be complicated enough that I give up before I even begin it.
Does it sound like this project is doomed from the start? Oh, I hope not. The finished ensemble looks fabulous in my imagination!
The dress and wrap are going to look so good when finished ~ you can do it! When you are all done then your DH needs to take you out to a fancy smancy dinner!
That dress is too cute! The wrap looks like a lot of work. I get really bored with projects that take more than 2 skeins of yarn. I know I need to get past that. They will both look great on you!!
the most awesome thing about stockinette is that you can do it while talking, watching TV, whatever as you don’t really need to pay attention while you knit. And in the end you will have awesomeness to wear around your shoulders.
You can do it!!! Go Lisa!
I think it will be a wonderful outfit Lisa! The colors of the yarn and the fabric go so beautifully together. Of course you will need to make yourself a polymer button that matches the fabric to go on the wrap. 🙂
Knit a little, sew a little. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. They’ll both be finished before you know it. They are going to look great together! Good luck.
