I made some progress on my crochet sweater this week, got a sizable batch of masks finished, and visited the beach again, all while coping (sometimes barely coping) with a toothache.

It was brutally hot this week. We had a family trip to the beach, and I took a solo one-night vacation at my parents’ house where I enjoyed a refreshing dip in their pool, a night in my old bedroom, and big cup of coffee in bed before heading to work. It was lovely. There was also a lot of knitting… I finished that shawl last night!

Well, that’s a relief. It’s not all crochet blankets in neutral colors this week. This week we had the pool! The beach! A new cast-on in brightly-colored yarn! And a tiny plaid sewing project. Good times.
