I use Google Talk (aka Gmail Chat aka Jabber) for instant messaging. This little bubble will show my availability:

• Green = logged in and available*
• Yellow = logged in but stepped away
• Red = logged in but unavailable
• Gray = not logged in

You don't need to have a Google Talk account to chat with me. If I am logged in, you may click on the bubble above and you will be instantly connected to me. I will see you as "guest." I highly recommend using the full-blown version of Google Talk, if you can, though. It's got nifty features you can explore here.

Please add polkadotcottage@lisaclarke.net to your contacts list and get a hold of me with the gadget below, or by running the Google Talk client on your desktop.

If you use the client, you can "call" me and have a live conversation using your computer's microphone and speakers. Leave voice mail for me, if I am unable to answer your call.

* a green light doesn't guarantee that I'll be able to chat, but the chances are good.
